Last week Toyota have been testing their TS050 LMP1 at the circuit of Aragon in Spain in preparation for the 2018 WEC championship

and the prestigious Le Mans 24hrs. The 2018 TS050 remains largely the same as last year, this is due to Porsche pulling out of the WEC and LE Mans 24hrs causing Toyota to put the development of the TS050 programme on hold with only minor updates and modifications being implemented for the 2018 season.

Sadly the TS050 is the only LMP1-H competing in this years WEC Championship and Le Mans 24Hrs, but this does not mean they will win either of them, one only has to look at last years Le Mans 24hrs to understand why, due to the high temperatures and unreliable hybrid technology only one LMP1-H car finished in the top 5, with the LMP2s taking 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.
